Seattle-based Winter Heavy industries has been creating stretchy fetish wear since 1998. Owner and designer Tonya Winter's garments have been featured in national fetish events, House of Gord publications and Las Vegas' Erotic Heritage Museum. I was actually impressed with Pink Minx Lingerie (and that's no small feat); after looking over their landing page I thought this was going to be some tiny site with a little specialty or niche stock - I was not prepared for how much selection they actually have. They carry huge burlesque fans, multiple styles and sizes of corset (even corsets for men), fancy socks, costumes, dresses, classic lingerie, shoes/boots, and the list goes on! Pink Minx is a UK based shop so all their prices are listed in pounds, but they do accept multiple forms of payment (including paypal). I chanced upon AntisepticFashion.com in my travels around the 'net and was so blown away that I had to take a closer look. This team of Los Angeles-based designers create amazing corsets, collars and other original gear. Their assortment of ready-to-buy items is small, but don't let that fool you. The designs shown in their hard-to-find but amazing online gallery are just spectacular. I was particularly taken by the gorgeous three-piece Adrastia Corset, made from gold leather and laced together in the most intriguing spots. Piper's is a site for real people. Women who have a hard time finding hose or lingerie or other intimate wear that actually fits their bodies. Skinny size 2's will always be able to find clothing. Women of size can't say that - or couldn't previously. Piper started her site after becoming frustrated in finding hose that fit. She has detailed shipping and return policies. She has a realistic sizing chart. Most important - in my opinion - is that she has plus sized models wearing the items. Many of the images were supplied by the manufacturers, she tells us, but they are building their own photo collection as well. In addition, they have a monthly contest for submitted photos of their customers, and again have detailed submission requirements. This is a very cool site featuring original hand molded 100% latex-free rubber designs by Anzjalise! As a fetishist that has developed a latex allergy over the years, I can tell you that is music to my ears. Another unique property of her work is that you can order fire resistant (not fire proof) gear as well, which is really neat for fire dancing! She has posted images of burn tests, so you can compare her fire resistant rubber with other materials. The gear design is quite nice and customizable. She can make original stuff just for you, or you can order things from the site and specify colors and sizes. The color selection is pretty broad and includes really neat options like blacklight reactive hues. There are some pretty unique offerings like rubber purses, bic lighter holders, cigarette holsters and such. I think my favorite gear includes the three dimensional pieces that look like they are covered in actual bone, those are brilliant! There is a very nice FAQ and a good set of care instructions for the work. Purchase appears to be through Paypal, but that company does seem to be a lot more open about clubwear. So far I haven't heard of anyone getting burned for that, as it isn't usually classified as pornographic. Still, Paypal always makes me nervous. While reviewing this site I found that I constantly had to remind myself not to spend my paycheck while visiting. If you are looking for artistic, romantic, and really special looking BDSM collars and cuffs you have to check this place out. This is a local [Seattle] artist whose work I've seen many times, both in local vendor's fairs, at the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival, and also adorning the bodies of many friends. I'm quite impressed with the fine quality of this embroidery work and am quite happy to endorse and support Bryce's work. [Disclaimer - I know him only casually, and have no personal invested interest in him or his business.] When I first saw his work a few years ago I was extremely excited, and he has only expanded and improved in time. He started with his displeasure over the quality of tshirts and other logo images, and he wanted to be able to have the imagery he felt represented him, in the quality he demanded and yet accessible in smaller than lot pricing of 600 or so. He has built his craft into a business now that can produce individual items or larger quantities either stock or custom, and always in high quality. He does home and bath items [hotpads, aprons, towels, pillows, etc], clothing [caps, shirts], and custom work [embroidery on leather, armbands, and many other items]. He has both standard art [gay, kink, political, and other images] and will also work with you on your own custom piece. Not mentioned on the site, but I have been told that he is researching on expanding his designs into various areas of sacred art. Very detailed instructions on custom orders, group orders, terms and conditions, laundry & dry cleaning guidelines, and such important trivia are clear and in depth. They even have some of the more esoteric offerings like inflatable hoods. I think that some of the stand out items include a large leatherlook section (for those that don't want to invest in leather or who are philosophically opposed to it), and an extremely respectable collection of affordable corsets. There are an awful lot of uniforms offered here as well, including all the old favorites from police man to nurse. There is a rather broad selection of nuns (which I always appreciate). They even have a superman knock-off outfit, which I personally found charming and had not seen before. Yummy! This store is a fine retailer of top notch, custom made, precision engineered, and hand crafted chastity belts, collars, restraints, and fetish equipment. Their pieces are mirror or satin finish stainless steel, many available with silicone liners. They have products for males, females, and transsexuals. The measurement kit costs nothing, and their attention to personal fit is second to none. After you send in your measurements, they laser cut a card stock mock up of the item and send it to you to try on. This allows you to have a chance to make any changes before going through with the order. If you need more personal assistance, they do offer (for a fee) personal fittings in which they can offer up advice and do all of the measuring and fitting in person. I could go on and on about their options here, but the bottom line is that if you want it done than they can do it. It doesn't matter whether you need a belt that is curved for better movement or custom art and lettering in black powder paint that is burnt in with a computer controlled laser. You'll pay for it, but it can be done...and done right.
