Le V Lingerie & Swimwear is a one-woman operation which aims to bring unique intimate items to folks who might be leery about looking for a black mesh teddy at the local mall. On this site you'll find a small but varied collection of lingerie, sexy leather goods, men's items and swim wear. There are several options for mixing and matching swim wear, which would be convenient for someone whose body doesn't conform to standard department store sizes. Le V also caries an interesting selection of plus-size lingerie. But my favorite part of Le V was their amazing selection of chain-mail lingerie. Chain mail! With rhinestones! It was awesome! I never knew that I needed a chain mail teddy before, but now I really want one! The site is pervasively pink and has a side-scrolling screen which was not the most convenient thing for me. But those are small prices to pay for the chance to dream about cavorting around in a chain mail teddy. As you'd expect from any site that carries intimate apparel, Le V Lingerie & Swimwear has a quite restrictive returns policy. Read it carefully before you order. - AAG

AllSexyClothes.com is a Texas-based online retailer dealing in the types of clothes you might wear if you were trying to impress your date--but *not* if you were trying to impress your date's mom. They carry all manner of naughty stuff, from bikinis, teddies, corsets, panties, and what they call "club-wear," which just might get you thrown out of any typical club...or asked to perform on-stage. The selection is fabulous, the contact information is complete, the returns policy is restrictive (as you'd expect for products of this nature) but clearly spelled out and the images--where they work--are large and easy to see. However, many of the larger images won't load for me either in my beloved Firefox or in IE. Some categories do not have any products in them at all. It's impossible to find items designed for specific sizes without clicking on each picture. And the promised size charts are completely blank. Looks like AllSexyClothes.com needs to have a quick chat with their webmaster, because if those problems were fixed up, the site would be great. - AAG

So the other day I was searching around online for something suitable to wear to an all-adult slumber party (don't ask). I found all kinds of sites that had sexy outfits you could wear if you were a size 6, but not so much for that would look good on someone who's not a size 6 (ie, me). Finally I found HipsandCurves.com, which stocks bras, panties, lingerie, corsets, leather and tons of other items in sizes up to 6x. Yes, 6x. Their items are clearly designed for larger women, and glory of glories, they are modeled on larger women too. How fabulous is that? HipsandCurves.com carries a few items for men in larger sizes. The site features shopping tips for men and a nice selection of erotic stories. Very impressive. This site features erotic t-shirts created for women. Many of the current designs involve phrases like "Kiss Me" or "Me So Horny". The t-shirts are sorted by level of naughtiness into sex kitten, sex vixen, and XXX. There is snail mail, email, telephone, and blog/myspace info available. Sale is through Paypal, so I'm unsure of how reliable that will be (since Paypal is notorious about how it deals with adult merchandise). I don't see any info on returns, privacy, or shipping. You know, I generally feel like I've got a pretty good handle on life if I'm wearing a bra and panties under my clothes. Bra and panties...I'm good to go. But after reading The Lingerie Post, I have a sudden craving for nipple covers. And a bra which converts into a shopping bag. How have I lived 38 years (many of them *with breasts*) and not known about bras that turn into shopping bags? I'm stunned by all the possibilities laid out before my eyes on The Lingerie Post. With a team of underwear specialists from around the globe, this blog reports daily (or more) on trends, hot new items, and bargains to be had in the lingerie world. They hold quarterly contests and occasionally interview folks in the lingerie/fashion biz. And now that this review is complete, I'm going to go back to The Lingerie Post and learn more about undies that will make it look like I've had a butt-lift. I need me some of those! - AAG

I ask you, would you be willing to pay $52 for a women's swimsuit that consists of approximately 6 square inches of fabric and a whole bunch of strings? Well then, would you at least like to *look* at a pretty girl wearing such a swimsuit? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then Flirt Catalog would be a great place to look. An online retailer specializing in what I can euphemistically describe as club-wear, Flirt has an large selection of very small clothes. Literally. The largest size I could find in their regular section was a size 10; most items are only available in junior sizes 9 and under. There's a fairly extensive plus-size section where the products are modeled on actual plus-size women! Cool. There's also a small selection of men's items, and I'm disappointed to report that the men show far less skin than do the women. Flirt provides ample ways to contact them if there's a problem with your order, and they even allow 30 days for you to return an unworn item. - AAG

This is a very well designed and comprehensive online lingerie store. They have helpful size charts, great contact info, and a FAQ that covers all the questions that are likely to come up. There is a toll free number, live chat, and much more. Ah, to find a site offering plus-sized lingerie that actually uses plus-sized models! Wouldn't that be awesome! Alas, Lingerie For Real Women is not such a site. Heck, I'd be happy if they used faux-plus-sized women--you know, the size 12 models that usually populate plus-size print ads. Instead, Lingerie For Real Women shows their wares on thin models; these are apparently standard supplier-provided photographs. The site has a nice selection of lingerie, hosiery, and some leather items. You can pay for your order via credit card or PayPal. There's a contact form and email address but no phone number or physical address. You must contact the company within 14 days for a return. Plus-size lingerie with no plus-size models? For example, a tiny padlock set with dozens of crystals, and a pair of handcuffs to match. Updated review for a site we listed two years ago. At the time, they were located only in the U.K., although they shipped worldwide. Now they have a U.S. based store (Los Angeles) as well, so you can pick which site to go to on the splash page. This is an absolutely gorgeously designed website. Coco-de-mer is a real life retail store in London, and this web counterpart offers indulgent online shopping. The interface is Flash designed - mouse over different site components and you'll find the store philosophy, an erotic movie, info on events held at the actual store location, and the web store. I had a wonderful time just exploring the site, the imagery was truly lovely. You'll find incredible boutique items, such as very unique handmade silk lingerie, various lotions and potions, a careful selection of spanking implements, and sextoys that are truly distinctive in material: jade cockrings, sterling silver and glass dildos, and so on. The price range is at the high end, given the materials used, but if you're looking for a sex toy that is art in and of itself, this is a place to find it. Shopping is via secure online storefront, prices in sterling pounds. The shipping charges are fairly expensive to the United States, because of customs fees, and less expensive within the UK and Europe. Secretly Sassy is a lingerie retailer that is based in the U.K. The U.K. always seems to have some of the coolest online shopping around. What I really liked about this site was that a lot of the lingerie was stuff that I haven’t seen elsewhere a million times. It’s refreshing to see something a little different. Sizing ranges from S – XL. Another great feature I really liked was that you could sort according to price. This is a great option if you have a certain limit for your spending. Crazy. I started to click on links like "company info" and "contact us" and they were not hot, meaning the only click was the sound of my finger on my mouse. I finally found a link to a "terms" page that opened and most of it was about how they may or may not ship what you want, may or may not fill a back order, and that any defects discovered after opening a package would not be accepted for return. This adult store is the web presence of a Canadian company in New Brunswick. It is in French and English, and it features a wide variety of products. Unfortunately, the products are sometimes just titles with item numbers next to them or super small pictures with no size chart or gigantic catalogue scans. You don't see many original concepts for web stores anymore, but this one manages to be different. If you become a member (which is free) then you receive a variety of discounts as well as the opportunity to tune in to live audio/video broadcasts with Amy and Rory. You also gain access to online fashion shows! Most of the lingerie is actually modeled by Amy, and some of the merchandise has everything in the world to do with her (like the body art prints). You'll find custom made corsets, lingerie, panties, legwear, jewelry, and more. When products are described, they are described really well. Unfortunately, when they aren't described it is simply a matter of a name and a price. I REALLY wanted to give them a quality rating, but unfortunately I can't due to such issues. Contact info seems to be email only, and no privacy policy is addressed. This has the makings of a GREAT store, but it still has a few problems to take care of. This really seems like a great little shop! The folks at Wicked Passions offer a wide selection of BDSM and fetish items, and they seem very invested in making sure that they are high quality. At first I thought this was going to be another standard fetish gear site with the same stuff I see everywhere, and boy was I wrong! The people at Fetish Flair offer a lot of that stuff I was expecting, but they also offer many hard to find and custom pieces. Some of my favorites were The Humbler CBT device, Custom tooled leather collar, Rose Punch Crop, Leather Roses, and unusual END leather masks that look almost skull like. There is also a wide variety of canes, collars, numbered art prints, costumes, jewelry, and more! They have sizes up to 6X, so everyone can find something they can wear here. The contact and customer service info is easy to find. The size charts are available (and helpful advice about them is given). They list events they will be at, and have a really nice links section that many educational sites would envy. To top it off, they are offering dungeon design services and collaring ceremony planning and space rental! They apparently have a dungeon in St. Louis, and they state that "We are happy to coordinate every detail for you from the flowers to the custom collar.
