Sylvie Monthulé of Paris designs high end non-piercing body jewelry that is hand cast in gold or silver overlay. The work here is extremely unique, and made for both men and women. The one thing that they have that I just don't find very advisable is anal jewelry. The web store section of this site has some problems, but everything else here is wonderful! Scottie Lowe has put together a really positive pansexual site that (in her words) is meant to, "...[P]rovide people of African descent a place to escape the narrow-minded, stereotypical, limiting and oft-times degrading beliefs that abound about our sexuality." At the time I visited there were 61 well written bits of erotica, and 7 sexy podcasts. The messages on this site are healthy and responsible. An example? "The foundation of every strong relationship is honesty, sharing, caring, and a willingness to be your most vulnerable self with your partner." The podcast that I listened to had some wonderful and sexy stories told in a very sensual voice. There is a small ecards section, and a personals section as well. The personals section has terms of service posted, including privacy info. The store section has lingerie, toys, and other adult items for sale. Unfortunately, the customer service and contact info for the shop is completely absent. I couldn't find anything about shipping or returns, for example. Contact seemed to be limited to a form only. This UK shop offers a nice selection of sexy underwear, bras, stockings, garter belts, baby dolls, and more. Most of the stuff you'll find here is in satin, nylon, and lace. There are small leather, costume, shoes, and accessories sections as well. Although they carry sizes up to a UK 3XL, many of the offerings here are best described as a UK size 14 or under. The sizing guide is not entirely helpful, but it is available. It usually gives a range of UK sizes (without measurement) and applies it to a label such as "Medium". If you enjoy open thongs or micro g-strings with fancy beading or nice sensual touches, then you'll love some of the things found here. The only freaky bit? They have edited the photos so that most of the images present women as having no genitals at all. Yeah, you heard me right. So, there will be a very alluring micro g-string on a flesh version of a human doll with no labia or hint of a skin fold leading to genitals. If you are looking for a sex doll, this store often has images of the dolls themselves (as fully inflated). Dallas Novelty goes beyond the basics and has items like cupping sets, electrostimulation toys, chastity devices, swings, enema equipment, and their own brand of equipment. They also stock a nice selection of breast forms, gaffs, padded panties, packer gear, and form bras. I liked the organization of the site, which helps guide you to the exact thing you are looking for rather swiftly. All of the policies are written out very clearly, and are easy to find. You should note the 30% restocking fee, email list add, and no cancellation on orders. I was really overwhelmed by the huge variety and quality of the merchandise here, but I did have one pet peeve. I don't know to what exotic place you have to travel in order to wear Bad Kitty Exotic Wear, but I want to go there. OH WAIT. Too many lingerie sites use a cookie-cutter format and sell the same lame goods, yawn. Not SecretMoments.com. This California-based company shows some amazingly gorgeous items, including outfits made primarily from rhinestones, sexy bridal items and unique and lovely chemises. I spent way more time here than I should have because the lingerie is truly gorgeous. All items can be viewed in a very large size, which is great when you're trying to check out all the details on an item -- or the model wearing it. My only complaint about the site is that they don't seem to stock plus-size items. XL was the largest size I found. I was actually impressed with Pink Minx Lingerie (and that's no small feat); after looking over their landing page I thought this was going to be some tiny site with a little specialty or niche stock - I was not prepared for how much selection they actually have. Franzisi.com, based in Germany, offers gorgeous retro designs in girdles, bras and long dresses. Many items are open at the crotch or nipple; these are especially nice to look at even if you aren't currently in the market. I am in serious lust after one of their amazing corset dresses. I have no idea where I'd wear it (the supermarket, perhaps?) but I need one, badly. The site can be read in German or English, but some of the English translations are a bit sketchy. So the first thing I noticed about this site was the sizing chart; 6-8 was a small, and X-Large was a woman's dress size 16. Brilliant! Real sizing for real people, finally. They have a fairly large variety of outfits from bra and panties sets to nighties and negligees, and of course stockings to complete the outfit. Shipping is pretty reasonable, and checkout is secure. You can even use pay pal. All prices are in pounds, not dollars, so exact pricing may depend on the current exchange rate. Should you be unhappy with your purchase, you can return or exchange unused items within seven days. My one beef with this site is that it's kind of hard to chose what size you want - the add to cart button adds a default size, and then you have to delete it and go back to change it if it's not the size you want. Second Sexe is a French language site (thankfully Jane does have a reviewer who speaks French) aimed mainly at women. The site is divided into four sections: La Médiathèque (media library), Le Magasin (store), Le Magazine (magazine), and Le Clube (club). The site really does have a little bit of everything. The media section has a range of french porn for sale as well as audio books (check out the sexy audio sample, it's very well done), and something that they're calling "Sextos" which are sexy text messages and you can order to have sent to your cell phone. The "store" section of the site sells some really cute lingerie as well as the standards (dildos, vibes, lube, bondage gear, books, DVDs). They have a 7 day return policy for unopened/unused merchandise only. The magazine section of the site is full of interesting articles (all in French, of course) on a variety of topics, including an advice column. In the club section, users can register to participate in the site's forums, ask their sexpert questions, and generally personalize their experience on the site (mark favourites, create a wishlist). Hm, I expected a site with a name like MyCyberErotica.com to feature sexy stories. It doesn't. Instead, it offers such items as lingerie, shoes and naughty accessories. Unfortunately, pictures of MyCyberErotica.com's wares are tiny. I'd have a hard time justifying the purchase of a $20 teddy based on the details I could see in these pictures. MyCyberErotica.com features a selection of quite pricey costumes and "courture" items. Sorry guys, you're going to have a hard time asking $200+ for an item in a misspelled category illustrated by a picture that's less than 2" wide. The site apparently charges a "restocking" fee of 25% whenever they feel like it. Additionally, the customer pays shipping on returned items. Hundreds if not thousands of sites sell lingerie and shoes. Choose one with better pictures and more reasonable returns policies than what you'll find at MyCyberErotica.com. --aag

Piper's is a site for real people. Women who have a hard time finding hose or lingerie or other intimate wear that actually fits their bodies. Skinny size 2's will always be able to find clothing. Women of size can't say that - or couldn't previously. Piper started her site after becoming frustrated in finding hose that fit. She has detailed shipping and return policies. She has a realistic sizing chart. Most important - in my opinion - is that she has plus sized models wearing the items. Many of the images were supplied by the manufacturers, she tells us, but they are building their own photo collection as well. In addition, they have a monthly contest for submitted photos of their customers, and again have detailed submission requirements. I was fascinated (and somewhat terrified) of their collection of c-strings, which are thongs without their annoying side strings. Imagine that! The only items I found that struck me as even slightly off the beaten path were a handful of offerings made from strands of rhinestones. Mandy's carries a reasonable selection of plus-sized items, but site navigation makes it difficult to identify which items are available in any given size. You can return an unworn item in its original packaging within 30 days; Mandy's will replace the item but will not refund your shipping. I'm slightly puzzled by the variety here, but hey, one never knows when one might need a thong and a belt on the same day, right? On their website you can schedule a class or party at their store; they'll even provide lessons in blow jobs or striptease. I'm impressed with G Boutique because they stock a really nice line of cute and functional maternity/nursing items, such as sweet little camis that unhook for breastfeeding.
