If you like erotic comics and art, I cannot recommend this site enough! All of the work here is female created and original, and I found it to be clever and hot as hell. There are a variety of artistic styles presented by folks such as Gina Biggs, Kittyhawk, Jamie Jennings, Yana Goya, and more. The artist known as "NG" is my particular favorite, as I believe that I love her more than cake. There are over 1,700 pages of comics, and a pinup archive. All of the comics are in English, and some have more involved plots than others. You can choose a genre by gender/focus such as male, female, transgender, other worldly, multiple types, and futa. (If you are unfamiliar with futa, it stands for futanari. The figures in this style of work often are hermaphrodites that present in a very feminine way. What does that mean? It means that they are essentially portrayed as women with fully functional male and female genitalia.) Storylines include gay, lesbian, bisexual, group, heterosexual, and label defying situations. As I mentioned before, this work is created particularly for the site and is graphically sexual. Within a matter of minutes, I was completely hooked and deeply turned on. I think that anyone into erotic comics will do the dance of joy upon finding this place, especially given the price! The organization is excellent, and there are no ads to bug you. - Vamp

Manuela Lollenbeck is a talented sculptor and mold maker that has written a book to help folks learn how to create safe and amazingly beautiful genital castings. The book has 16 chapters, 10,000 words, 81 color photos, and 11 diagrams. It details what to buy, how much to buy, and where to buy it from. You can purchase the material as an ebook pdf file from the author, or you can buy a paperback version through Amazon. I was impressed enough by the author's description of the home art project that I plan on purchasing this book as a gift to myself. The site is extremely body positive and woman loving, and there is a gallery of finished pieces to look over. There is also a vulva blog in which women can simply share their own beauty directly. If you are looking for adult toys, lingerie, books, jewelry, games, or holiday related items this is a great one stop shopping experience! There are all of the usual suspects like vibrators, dildos, and such. The descriptions here go the extra mile though (like books often listing page counts and actual physical dimensions). If you are looking for a sex doll, this store often has images of the dolls themselves (as fully inflated). Dallas Novelty goes beyond the basics and has items like cupping sets, electrostimulation toys, chastity devices, swings, enema equipment, and their own brand of equipment. They also stock a nice selection of breast forms, gaffs, padded panties, packer gear, and form bras. I liked the organization of the site, which helps guide you to the exact thing you are looking for rather swiftly. All of the policies are written out very clearly, and are easy to find. You should note the 30% restocking fee, email list add, and no cancellation on orders. Customer service info is also easy to locate and contact info includes toll free phone number, email, form, and mailing address. This site was up for an Xbiz Award in 2011, and they have an active Twitter account that offers special discounts to followers. They currently take orders from the US and Canada only. I was really overwhelmed by the huge variety and quality of the merchandise here, but I did have one pet peeve. They offer desensitizing agents that contain benzocaine, lidocaine, and menthol for anal play. I love the fact that this is one of the only shops that tells you what is in these desensitizing agents, that is a rarity and extremely responsible! I just wish that they didn't offer them in the first place, because these things are really a bad choice for anal play. Anal sex shouldn't hurt, and if you feel pain it is important that you are aware of it and stop to figure out what is wrong. I love the idea behind this project! Back in 2005, a bunch of Literotica authors got together and decided to put out anthologies of erotica fiction and poetry to benefit charity. All of the proceeds from the books go to the charity each volume designates (which has included folks like The American Red Cross, Autism Speaks, Amnesty International, and many smaller organizations). There are around 37 different volumes on sale now, and you can download a free playbill pdf to get complete author bios for each contributor. I really loved the free playbill, since it was a great link list to find new authors! All of the books sold here have full descriptions and word counts (and are available in pdf, epub, lit, pdb, lrf, Mobi, rb, and sometimes hardcover). Many of the books are priced between .99 and a few bucks, so they are very reasonable to purchase as well. The one thing that I wish the site had was an explanation of the purchase/delivery, since I like that explained before I purchase. Contact is limited to a form, which was a bit of a second strike on the technical level. I highly recommend writing to them to answer any questions first, if you are worried about the purchase procedure. A wonderful homegrown project that has contributed thousands to charity! Skin Two started out in a cellar in Soho, London in 1983. It has grown through the years to become a legend of fetish fashion and style, and the organizer of one of the most famous fetish events in the world the "Skin Two Rubber Ball Weekend". This site is the online version of their magazine, and offers lots of free (fiction and nonfiction) writing as well as tons of art. There is also a forum that allows you to network with other readers and discuss things like clubs and BDSM. Some famous bloggers such as Patrick Califia can also be found here. This site is completely in German, so I may have missed a few things about the content. Danielle de Santiago was born in France, and currently lives in Germany. He has been part of the European literary scene for quite some time, and won several awards for his erotic writing. This site gives a list of books, articles, ebooks, short stories, erotic audio books, magazine columns, and more that he has written. These include a few English pieces that he has prepared for Cleis Press and Star Books. The author has a short FAQ, lists contact info, and even supplies a link to his diary (on another site). There appears to be an erotic audio file buried in the "other" section, but since I do not speak German it was lost upon me. A neat author's site! - Vamp

This site promotes books by Racy Pages. At the moment, they have completed one erotic anthology called "Surprise". The stories in that anthology attempt to remind the reader of the physical and emotional sensations of surprise, including the adrenaline rush. The site links to Google Books and Amazon, which both allow you to read part of the book. At the time I visited, they were also actively looking for submissions to a new anthology that will be called "Stretch" and will contain work by Steven Gannt (a star of the Showtime reality series Gigolos). Do you want to listen to a twelve and a half minute video pitch for an ebook called "How To Turn Your Partner Into a Swinger" by Michael Andrews? Yeah, me neither. The video just shows the text that is being read, and doesn't go into the specific methods or the professional credentials and background of the writer (although he hints at having been mentioned by Oprah and being a professional sex coach). He makes sweeping claims such as having a, "[F]our-step method that will show you how you can turn your partner (no matter what their current attitude) into a swinger." Hmm...I only have a BA in Psychology, and I can tell you that some folks will not be interested in that lifestyle and you can't just decide to "turn your partner" into anything. It seems grossly unprofessional to suggest otherwise. This book is copyright the LoveSexInstitute, and I have no idea who they are. Payment is through Clickbank, and I'm not familiar with them either (although I did find them listed with the Better Business Bureau with an A- rating at this time). The biggest red flag here? The only contact info is an email address, and the site lists nothing about the author. I'd just plain skip it. - Vamp

I have to admit my bias here; I've been a Hyapatia Lee fan for a really long time. She was my favorite porn star way before I ever started working at Janesguide.com. This is her official website that posts a bio, info about her musical career, filmography, and some free video clips and pictures. There is also a list of current contact info. If you want to find high quality erotic science fiction and fantasy writing, then you have to check out this small press genre superstar! Circlet was founded back in the early nineties by author Cecelia Tan, and it has grown into an award winning publisher that has worked with authors such as Laura Antoniou, Carol Queen, Thomas S. Roche, and Catherine Asaro. If you are not familiar with their titles, this website does a great job of introducing the wild and hot world of Circlet. In the blog section you'll find a weekly serialized erotic fantasy novel by Cecelia Tan called "The Prince's Boy", which is a very well written male/male high fantasy romance with explicit homosexuality and lots of kink. You'll also find a very long list of free short stories and book excerpts by great authors, so you can really get a feel for what kind of work they like to promote. You can buy print books and ebooks direct from the publisher, and ebooks are available in a very wide selection of formats. All books have a cover photo, blurb, word count, price, and excerpt. I felt very comfortable that I knew exactly what an item was before ordering. Terms of Service, privacy, contact, shipping, and customer service info were all easy to find. Payment is through Paypal. They also list a long line of book sellers that carry their books, just in case you feel more comfortable purchasing from a place like Barnes & Nobel. I noticed that when I visited, they had just started putting out audio books (in mp3 format) as well. They have a great free sample that is up for grabs, and I highly encourage you to go listen to it if you are a fan of Victorian/Steampunk style erotica with a great sense of humor. I listened to it, and found it to be extremely high quality and quite in line with what I'd come to expect from Circlet. Have you ever thought about becoming an escort? This book promises to be a comprehensive handbook for the modern day escort that wants to provide the Girl Friend Experience (GFE), as well as a good safety manual for online and "no strings attached" dating. It is written by someone named "Tessa James", and I have no information on that individual. The website consists of links to booksellers on other sites, sales talk, a short author bio, and a very good resource list. I would have appreciated more concrete info on the author's background in sex work, and maybe some clearer information about the book on the website. I am, however, very encouraged by the excellent resource list. I suggest that if you are interested in purchasing the book, you check it out over at the major online bookseller first. This site sells books and ebooks in PDF and ePub format, and a small number of audio CDs. Genres covered include BDSM/fetish, cougars and sugar daddies, fantasy, contemporary, historical, and more. Some of the books offer excerpts, but others just have short blurbs. It looks like readers seem quite satisfied by the products, and they often leave reviews on the site. There are a lot of cool things about this place, like the loyalty points system (for repeat customers) and free delivery. Contact information is also very easy to find, and they have offices in three countries to assist you with orders. The only problems I found here are the lack of a privacy statement, and the baffling lack of information about the lengths of the books and minutes on the CDs. Without lengths listed, you are really buying blind. I noticed that some of the books are offered through other sites (iTunes and Amazon), and so you can find the length out that way. Still, you shouldn't have to waste your time like that. It breaks my heart not to give a Quality rating to a small publisher like this, but I'm afraid that length issue is a dealbreaker. - Vamp

Dionne Galace is an author of erotic romance books, reviewer, and funny as all get out! This website gives a brief bio on the author, excerpts of her books, links to where to purchase, and even offers a couple of free stories. The lion's share of the site, however, is really devoted to reviews of romance novels. Dionne has been writing these reviews since 2005, so she has quite a collection. They are organized chronologically in a blog, but you can sort them by grade and genre as well. Here is an example of her tone: "Have you ever wondered what the Lion King would have been like if it had some sex in it? Have you ever thought to yourself, 'Man, you know what the Lion King was missing? Hot sex. And lesbians. And dudes having sex with each other. How about some of that?'" She has a very witty and irreverent style that I found quite refreshing. In another section of the site called "Cover Snark", she posts pictures of romance novel covers and creates fake blurbs inspired by the art and title. This was a lot of fun to read. The authors describe each book, supply excerpts, and have links to where to purchase them. There is also a brief bio section, and links to their Livejournal and Twitter accounts. Emerald is an erotic fiction author who has been published by folks like Cleis Press. This site lists her publications. interviews, guest blog appearances, readings, podcasts, blog tours, and other special events. That is wonderful if you are already a fan, but the real gem here is the blog! Emerald is an extremely well educated and sex positive woman who writes very eloquently about sexuality, sex worker rights, and the "...intrinsic nature of sexuality and its holistic relation to life." There is about four years worth of writing here, and I found it all very striking and worth my time. I think it will be of particular interest to folks who are drawn to academic discussions of topics like gender, reproductive rights, and the age old duality of body and spirit.
