Zishy.com got me right out of the gate, after 17 years of reviewing online porn. How? By not overwhelming with a barrage of the nastiest talk and most hardcore pictures they could find. Zishy is, in their own words, "Edgy, non-nude photos of beautiful young women." Based out of L.A., Zishy's photographer is Zach Venice - he is also the site coder/designer. Upon entering, you'll find a pinterest-style layout of large thumbnails of photo shoots. Click one and you'll get several large sample images from the shoot, along with a description and photo count. That is some really generous preview content, as there are dozens of shoots on the preview. The ways they avoid full nudity run the gamut from cliche (hands covering the swimsuit bits) to silly (a photo stuck to a mirror) to creative (the tiniest bit of strands of hair very carefully place over a nipple.) People write me all the time asking for sites that are tasteful, yet still provocative, and I think Zishy is exactly what they have in mind. Preview is transparent, with all galleries listed with photo counts and samples. You can view by most recent, or by model - there are about 100 models already here, on this newly-launched site. Super cute and fun feeling, and a great deal on cost. Inside, you'll find that each set can also be downloaded as a zip file for the collectors, and each gallery links to other shoots with that model, for easy browsing. Well-done, with updates 3-4 times per week.

AlwaysArousedGirl reviewed this site back in 2008 and said: "DeltaOfVenus.com, described by the site owner as 'part historical archive, and part enlightened porn website,' is chock-full of a century's worth of images, films and stories, digitally restored whenever possible... The site is still charming, sexy, and a great value! There are currently over 400 streaming and downloadable mp4 movies (most of which are under 10 minutes long). The earliest go back as far as 1915, and the latest were shot in 1975. The smallest category represented is erotic cartoons, but there are still 9 animated shorts that are extremely interesting. I love how each film has the date and country of origin, as well as a brief synopsis. The photo archive covers from 1850-1979, and there are currently 1,970 images available in the new section. You can also see a few more images if you look at the bits of the photo archive that have not been brought over to the new design yet. The literature area offers 8 full length erotic novels, 4 fiction excerpts, and a few poems. All of these are in pdf format, and can be downloaded or read in your browser. The art section has almost a dozen small galleries of erotic art from the 1800s thru the early 1900s. The site owner has also written around 7 original articles on early pornography. One of the incredibly unique sections of the website is an archive of old sound files. There are around 18 mp3s, most of which come from 1960-70's sexual education records and 8 tracks. I don't know whether I'd call those sexy, but they were highly amusing (especially a couple of the files that featured, "[A] supremely disinterested and possibly drunk Brooklyn narrator." Other odds and ends can be found on the site, like a suggested reading list and word origin information on many erotic words. I thoroughly enjoyed this place, and was sometimes shocked by how absolutely depraved early erotica could be (and I mean that in the best of ways). If you enjoy fetish content, you'll see a small but beautiful collection of cat fighting, bondage, and spanking here. Excellent resource for retro erotica! Highly recommended! - Vamp

PlayboyPlus is the newly re-vamped pay side of the Playboy website. I can't say the preview is all that exciting. I'm a big fan of the transparent preview that shows all the updates in a timeline - but hey, this is Playboy and the content is vast. The preview does show the latest updates, along with a short streaming video clip. You can also navigate the regular Playboy site from the navigation, if you're "just going to the site for the articles." (Sorry, couldn't resist.) Once inside, the content is laid out with latest content on the splash page, and sidebar navigation that includes most popular videos, pictorials, and models. It also shows what is being viewed at the time by other users that are online. One feature that I found kind of fun was being able to browse Playmate of the Month and Playmate of the Year, because the archive goes back to 1954. Seeing the differences in posing and hairstyles from one generation to the next is interesting (the 50's: does everyone suck their stomach in for every photo? So very Bettie Page.) Of course there are also current day celebrities nude, like Kim Kardashian, Jenny McCarthy, and the post-surgery Heidi Montag. There are others you might expect to see, like the famous Lindsay Lohan "Marilyn" photoshoot, that are not yet on the website though. When I did a search for that, I found a single photo from the shoot, along with bio info. Of course celebrity shoots are hardly the only reason to visit Playboy. They also are showcasing Playboyesque amateurs, and in a different category, Cybergirls. In trying to distinguish what differentiated a cybergirl from an amateur, all I could come up with is possibly tattoos, breast enhancement, or other body mod? It appeared as though Cybergirls had them, amateurs did not. Other categories were co-eds (young?) and International. Pictorials could be viewed in a slideshow, or downloaded via zip file. Videos seemed to be mostly filmed during photoshoots, although there were some softcore posing videos that were set too well to music to be photoshoot content. Most videos run around 5-10 minutes, are streamed via Flash plugin, and could be downloaded in variety mp4 resolutions, all the way up to HD1080. Thankfully there is a search feature, which will be handy if you're looking for a particular model. With 100,000+ photos and thousands of models, it's a necessary feature. Members can rate content, but I didn't see any way to favorite things for later viewing, which surprised me in a site of this scale. Other tidbits rounding out the content included a bonus feeds section, with downloadable clips from more hardcore dvd titles, and a live model chat feature that had 5 women online when I visited. The PlayboyTV section is another separate membership, as is the DVD section, which linked off to partnership website Moviebox.com and streams movie content for membership fees. In all, PlayboyPlus is totally worth the subscription fees if you're a fan of Playboy's style of pictorial. If you truly do love Playboy for the articles, however, you won't find them archived here.

This is the official website for Red Hot Annie, a burlesque performer and founder of Chicago's Vaudezilla. If you enjoy fetish fantasy artwork with an emphasis on cruel older dominant women in high heels and stockings, then you are probably already familiar with Chris! Of England. His work features snarling vintage beauties in classic Bizarre style taking control of submissive folks and demanding worship. The women are often wasp waisted or BBW, and the men are often drawn a bit smallish with rough features. A good deal of the site is devoted to original artwork, but there is also a large collection of vintage photographs (on the same topic) as well. The organization here is a bit awkward, so it was difficult to get an accurate count on the amount of content. I also found some of the archive had broken images, which I'm sure the webmaster will remedy soon. The photographs and artwork are definitely on target for fetishists, and there is not a lot of nudity or even suggested non-fetish oriented sex going on here. This site is a collection of over 24,000 vintage and retro photographs from the mid 1800's to the 1950's. The vast majority are nude postcard images from Germany and France, but there are about 3,345 fashion photos and 58 stereoviews as well. The sample images available are representative of what you'll find inside. All of the photos that I saw were softcore and glamor photos. There are several different member levels here, and each is explained. When I visited there was a free trial that converted to a $5.95/month recurring charge. This allowed access to all but the zip file download area. The basic membership is currently at $9.95/month recurring and allows for 5 full album downloads (in zip file format and without watermarks) a month. The Silver membership is $14.95/month recurring and allows for 10 full album downloads (in zip file format and without watermarks) a month. This site really made me nostalgic! It is full of sexy stars from the 1960's-1990's like Aja, Vanessa Del Rio, Seka, Christy Canyon, Hyapatia Lee, and Amber Lynn. There are also folks that didn't make it to the big time, but still offered up some pretty scorching scenes. There are a total of around 190 video clips here, most of which seemed to run between 5-17 minutes and skipped a lot of the plot devices and concentrated on the sex. Movies were available in flash, avi, and m4v. They all ran very swiftly on my older computer, and you could skip forward in the action pretty easily. So, why didn't I give it a Quality rating? They promise photo galleries, and I couldn't find even one on there. It is possible that I missed them somehow, but if I couldn't locate them after a third look then I think consumers will be disappointed as well. I also think it is a little misleading to appear to have whole movies, but really only have five minute clips of some of these classics. They need to give folks a better idea of what to expect. This site houses one of the largest collections of vintage and classic erotica that I have seen online! There are almost 47,000 images here, and all of them are organized so well that it is easy to find the things that you like. The archive covers erotica from the 1520's through the 1990's, and it utterly dispels the idea that the craving for erotic imagery is new. You'll find erotic alphabets, playing cards, calendars, illustrations from classic literature, Tijuanna Bibles, glamour pin-ups, postcards, and porn mags. There is everything from hardcore woodcuts to fine art nudes. You can browse the site for free, but you won't be able to enlarge images unless you are a subscriber. Subscribers also get the chance to view images as slideshows or bookmark favorites. I really liked how well organized this collection was, and the great variety of styles and time periods represented. The subscription fee is $4.95/3 days and then $15/month recurring, and it appears that they update often. "Queen of Pinups - Bettie Page" is just what you might guess it to be - a fan page dedicated to one of the most famous American fetish and erotic models of the 50's. The site has sets of galleries showing some of her semi-nude work and bondage pix in black and white as well as colour. Some of the photos are better quality than others, but it's still a pretty big collection. The site also hosts 9 short videos of Bettie, though not all of them work. The videos that do play are only viewable on IE (not firefox) and are quit old, some also have no sound. I get hugely annoyed when pay sites make you work to find the members log-in page. If the customer has just forked over cash why should she have to hunt around? To add insult to injury, the webmaster promises in the tour that navigation is "easy and intuitive." Dude, not so much. Probably the easiest way is to click on "site nav", then just pick from the text link list - they all open up a login box. Nevertheless, when you get inside the site you'll find 50+ galleries of gorgeous women modeling pretty, classic lingerie. You'll see nighties, cone-shaped bras, girdles, petticoats and lots of pantyhose. Each set includes 100+ images which can be viewed in a slideshow of smaller pictures or clicked to bring up a huge version. If you're partial to a particular style of photo (such as upskirt) or article of clothing, there's an index which links image numbers of all examples. This could be improved by including thumbnails. There's a model index as well. Several of the models are larger, which is a very nice touch. Additionally, a few short Quicktime clips of modeling sessions are included. These are not nearly as well done as the photos. Updates are posted twice a month. Need a non-recurring option? Pay $19.95 for 30 days or $38.85 for 90 days. Oh, and that missing log-in page? There's something very special about a well-done vintage erotica site. Fans of decades-old saucy pictures should check out Erotmane.org. If you're not interested in handing over your credit card, there are lots of free galleries organized by subject into a very nice photo viewer. Use the cool minimize feature to shrink the screen quickly if someone's coming who wouldn't much appreciate your viewing habits. Pay a monthly fee and get full access to all the galleries. I really enjoyed viewing images by technique, such as daguerrotype, pen & ink and woodcut. There's even a selection of stereo photographs. All told you'll find many thousands of images on the site. However, watch out for the trial option. It's only $2.95 for the first fourteen days, but then the rate automatically jumps to $15.00 per month thereafter until you cancel. Seriously. It has probably been about five years since I last visited Seattle photographer Kevin Hundsnurscher's website, Elaisted.com. It's always been a gorgeous site, and that certainly hasn't changed. The photography is stunning, whether it's a shot taken during a burlesque show, a very posed and well-composed shot of a latex-clad model, or a disturbing bondage shot featuring a very large (real? fake? not sure) insect. There is a slideshow of images spanning years of work, in the featured photography section. Then there is the "everything" section, which is as it says: bits and pieces that are sometimes funny, sometimes personal. Check out the photo of the welding shot and you'll see what I mean. I also love the "last frame" section, and the whole concept behind it. It's the last frame of each shoot, taken with a timer so that K.H. and the model/s can have a memento of the time and work completed, and they're really cool. Funny, silly, weird depending on the shoot. In late 2007, he self-published a book, "Silhouettes", which is available at blurb.com in both hardcover and softcover. Many of the book images are in the featured photography slideshow (they are identified as being in the book if they are) so you'll get an idea of the content and breadth of the book before purchasing. It's nice to have a high quality printing of what was previously only available online if you aren't fortunate enough to be in an area where Kevin shows his work. The only thing I'd like to see that wasn't here is maybe a show schedule, assuming that the photographer is still participating in shows. Vintage Erotic Pictures is a site where fans of vintage erotic "post cards" can go to purchase high quality digital copies of said erotic art. So far they haven't set it up so that you can buy single images, instead you must purchase "volumes" of about 25 pictures - for $10. The pictures themselves are quite lovely and beautifully restored. Overall the site has a good concept and a good product, but the website itself is still a little clunky and could use some updating. I also can't help thinking that they should also be offering framed prints of images for sale as well, rather than exclusively digital copies. Still, if you're a fan of vintage porn, you'll def want to check this site out, whether you decide to buy the volumes or not. - Shay

I adore vintage erotica. Is it the natural bodies? The delightful clothing? The sense that the photos were handled extensively before coming to rest on the internet? On sites such as Erotica-Vintage.com? Whatever the draw is, you can get your vintage on here. Before handing over your credit card, view a couple dozen smaller images, send a sexy e-card, consider purchasing a vintage movie, and ogle the "picture of the day." After joining, enjoy access to thousands of images, all nicely categorized and slotted into easily viewable sets. I had a great time looking through the "homosexual" section, which included a subcategory of men in posing pouches. Rrowr. A category called "bizarre" features such gems as a woman fucking herself on a replica of the Eiffel Tower and another getting frisky with a wine bottle. I loved the "Erotic Arts" section, which consists of sexy works from 50+ artists. These are absolutely brilliant. Also included is an hour's worth of downloadable MPG movies. Don't expect perfection here. These are old movies shot by amateurs. But that's a great part of their charm. A five-day trial option is available for just $8.95. He's collecting and restoring pinup photographs from the 1950s, an era in which obscenity laws forced photographers to develop sexy pictures in their own homes. His site features a small but stunning collection of images that he's restored; you can view these for free or order high-quality prints. If you are a fan of retro modern pinups and rockabilly style, you'll love this place! Irish posts fabulous professional and amateur modern pinup pictures and credits the models, photographers, and stylists responsible. You can subscribe and have the content sent to your email, or visit the blog. If you have images to contribute, the process for submitting them is pretty easy. No nude images are allowed. Irish says, "If you love hot rods, kustom kulture and the lowbrow life - then you love these girls as much as I do. There is also a nod to vintage erotica and a lot of good humor as well. I love the new trend toward rockabilly hairstyles and vintage outfits, and this blog is written by a woman who adores them too.
