Updated to add that Camille Crimson's site was nominated in 2013 for a Feminist Porn Award, and the site is now translated in French as well, and still updating strongly. It's been quite awhile since I've seen a new site that I've gotten excited about. No, I don't mean "aroused" excited, I mean that happy, warm glow when you come across someone doing beautiful content that they obviously love doing. The art section has almost a dozen small galleries of erotic art from the 1800s thru the early 1900s. The site owner has also written around 7 original articles on early pornography. One of the incredibly unique sections of the website is an archive of old sound files. There are around 18 mp3s, most of which come from 1960-70's sexual education records and 8 tracks. I don't know whether I'd call those sexy, but they were highly amusing (especially a couple of the files that featured, "[A] supremely disinterested and possibly drunk Brooklyn narrator." Other odds and ends can be found on the site, like a suggested reading list and word origin information on many erotic words. I thoroughly enjoyed this place, and was sometimes shocked by how absolutely depraved early erotica could be (and I mean that in the best of ways). When I first heard of Darling House, I thought of that Dirty Sexy Money show immediately, because of the name "darling". Darling is such an evocative name. Joshua Darling, founder of DarlingHouse.net, describes it as "... a Salon that curates and features the gap between artists on the fringe, erotica, sometimes pornography and mainstream cultural appreciations like movies, theatre, and dance." There are several regular contributors to the content at Darlinghouse: the erotic food & fetish poetry of Natasha Gornik, moody video clips by JM Darling, the ongoing fetish serial of BastardKeith (currently on chapter 7), the startlingly frank photoblog of Sovereign Skye, to mention a few. The website is still calling itself a beta version, so I am guessing changes are on the horizon. RylskyArt is the newest offering from the MetArt family of websites, and is very much in keeping with the style MetArt is known for, which is super-high quality softcore artistic nudes of young women. You won't find tattoos, augmented breasts, piercings, etc. here, rather you'll find slender, small-breasted and gorgeous young women, typically 18-24 and mostly from the Baltic region. The preview is transparent, with their signature magazine-cover style updates. There are typically 15 updates a month, of large photosets. There are movies, but when I visited there were only 3 on the site so far, as it's relatively new. Nude, lingerie, lots of pink, but nothing more explicit such as penetration. Photo sets are offered in 3 different resolutions, as downloads or in slideshow formats. Once you've joined, you have the ability to add sets to your favorites for later viewing, and you can also easily check out recently viewed sets. I love this site! Substantia Jones describes her fine art photography project with this mission statement: "The Adipositivity Project aims to promote size acceptance, not by listing the merits of big people, or detailing examples of excellence (these things are easily seen all around us), but rather, through a visual display of fat physicality. I first started seeing work from this London photographer show up on Tumblr, where it was very popular and uncredited. Imagine my delight when I sorted out who was behind the images! I contacted Megan and asked her if I could do the review, as I felt many of you would want to look at the rest of her pieces. Her work seems to combine fine art nudes, fashion photography, and fetish erotica. I often got the feel that I was looking at Polaroid memories of a particularly fine summer in the 1970's. There was raw heat here, even though the colors tend toward the cool side. There is also a very tangible feel of capturing an intimate moment in time, which even holds true for the highly stylized and posed galleries like "Furries" (which is often ripped off and uncredited on the internet). This website is well designed and simple to navigate, and it shows a lot of the work that she has done for magazines such as GQ and Disorder. This site is a library of artistic nude photography from a lot of the big names in the industry. You'll find everything from surrealism to hardcore porn with great lighting and composition. While most of the subjects are women, there are plenty of men and a few genderqueer individuals as well. You can search for images by photographer (such as Charles Gatewood, Petter Hegre, and Steve Diet Goedde). You can also look for work of a particular style, such as journalistic. There are a few "date" photosets on the site, and they are a bit like an adult erotic photo story. They pair images of one woman in several settings with a very brief story of what is going on. I found those interesting. It is impossible to swiftly download any of these photosets, and the images are fairly small on the screen. That said, the work itself is very exciting, as you'd expect from these artists. I counted 82 galleries, but it was difficult to figure out whether I was seeing everything or not. The site says that they currently have over 12,000 photos, and that is possible. I wasn't thrilled that the cost of the site was so vague, since there is no mention about whether it will be recurring or not. Whenever that happens, it is usually safe to bet on it being a recurring charge. This site seems a natural as a Vamp's Pick due to all the great artists present, but the organization was just a bit too awkward (and the images too small) for me to enjoy it as much as I'd like. The goal of this site is to explore human sexuality in an artistic way. A small group of men and women have put together a pansexual site in which they are both artists and subjects, which I think is pretty cool! The blog section of this adult site is probably my favorite bit. It discusses topics like bisexuality, the nature of love, and the future potential for AI (artificial intelligence) being utilized to fulfill human sexual and emotional needs. There are around 491 pictures on the site, and they are divided between erotic and artistic. This confused me a bit, as I thought the goal was to combine these genres. In reality, the divide here is more like softcore/hardcore. There are some really interesting compositions in this section, and quite a few of the images are black and white. Some of the images involve kink. I'd recommend this place if you like black and white images of men with uncut cocks, as it has quite a few here. In addition to the still photos, there are about 17 short HD videos in wmv or mov formats. The movies didn't stream on my connection, but I was able to download one of the short films in a reasonable amount of time. The webpage has a forum, but it doesn't appear to be very active yet. There was some code issue on the index page that made my firefox browser blank about a quarter of the site. The member area has the non-recurring member rate listed below, but also has a monthly recurring rate with a two day trial stuck on to the first month. Fabrizio Ceciliani (alias dott.dulcamara) is an Italian photographer that is pretty no nonsense. He doesn't want to talk about the process of being an artist. He produces work, and it speaks for itself. His photographs seem to merge political concern for the well being of animals and the environment, a fashion photography feel, portrait work, and fine art nudes. Heck, there is even an element of fantasy here. A perfect example of what you might find is a series of images called "Hydroponic Woman" that shows a woman (bound in bandages) who has been created to live off of sunlight and water. His work includes color and black and white images, and he experiments with movement and focus in really interesting ways. I often found his work created the emotional response of menace or dreamlike dissociation. I was looking at humans, but it felt very much like I was viewing something slightly alien. I didn't see any details about shows or prints here, which was sort of disappointing. Some of the site is in Italian, so there may be details that I missed. Thought provoking, emotional, and unusual. If you are looking for a haunting and conflicted look at eroticism, then Marc Blackie is your man. He tells a visual story of horror, power, helplessness, despair, lust, humor, and self destruction. On the surface, he produces fine art nudes and short films heavily influenced by shibari bondage and pornography. Most of his work is black and white, although he occasionally flirts with color. I noticed that his color pieces actually emphasize a sense of stark emotional suffering paired with erotic positioning, while his black and white pieces sometimes feel more lush and lascivious. I found that quite interesting! In addition to rope bondage, he seems to include themes like ageplay, dominance and submission, breathplay, amputation, exhibitionism, menstruation, and "broken doll" imagery that is sometimes found in Japanese art. He is quite adept at using light to tell a story, but some of the most curious things he does involve mirrors and glass. I was really taken by some of the narratives suggested by such devices. He tells stories in several ways here. You'll see still photos, mutoscopes (moving portraits that may remind you of flipbooks or peepshows), short streaming movies, and original musical compositions that are part of his films. The artist also sells a set of four postcards, but you have to contact him for specific details. The surreal and uncomfortable psychological landscape created by this London photographer was absolutely seductive to me. I think you'll love this artist if you enjoyed the film "Un Chien Andalou" by Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí. There is a very similar flavor here. Extremely recommended to fans of surrealism! - Vamp

This is the erotic fine art photography blog of UK artist Dale Strickland-Clark. The blog describes his current photographic efforts, and offers reflections on his recent shoots. A feast for the eyes! This London based photographer specializes in fine art nudes with exquisite lighting that often seems to take an image to an all new level, accentuating the musculature of the model or the texture of their skin. Some of his work in color (especially with red headed models) actually took my breath away. In addition to his skill in lighting, I also noted his exceptional ability to capture models in particularly dynamic and unusual postures. The galleries here are divided by topic including fashion, fine art, music, pregnancy, and much more. Under the studio section, there is some information about renting his studio or getting assistance with things like photo retouching or locating dependable models. It seems like he is very interested in passing on his information, and even offers a class on lighting subjects. If I were in the area, I'd be taking that class based on what I just looked at. His exhibitions and publications are listed, and all contact info is easy to find. A website with a very simple design, and really outstanding photography! What a delight! This professional organization for artists working in the erotic genre has a website brimming with intellectual and visual experiences. The navigation is very simple and understated, but the art showcased is extraordinary. The member list shows a small selection of work by each artist, and links to where further work can be viewed. There is erotic art by photographers, painters/illustrators, writers, sculptors, and others. I could have spent a great deal of time just getting lost in that, as the members are all quite talented.
