This site basically guides you to a bunch of free gallery tours that all center around the theme of high end nude photography. They tell you where to look to get free videos on the tours, list books that may be of interest, and link to artists that you might enjoy if you are into this genre. A well designed click-through site. The whole thing is a link list, but at least it is an ad that stays on theme and manages to help you find the content you want. - Vamp

My first thought when clicking on this site and finding an image of a white Pomeranian was, "We do not review this kind of site." Ha! Luckily, that is just the site mascot. The actual page has a list of over 300 links, all of which are ranked due to how much traffic they generate and their rating. So, if you haven't had enough porn ads today you can click over there and read up. It is okay for what it is, a rated link list. That said, I just don't see the merit in these. - Vamp

I'll be honest, most link lists get on my nerves. This one, however, has a very clean design that manages to be straight forward and eye catching at the same time. The site links to a variety of free galleries, all of which are upscale softcore nude websites. I didn't see anything "trashy" or disrespectful here, and the descriptions of the galleries were spot on. I didn't get any annoying pop ups when I clicked around. This "adult directory" is a big blinking ad with a minimal amount of words. If you check out the categories, you'll see lots of links to pay sites (with a few free gallery sites thrown in). Some of the gallery sites that they lead to are as marked, while others are pop up nightmares. They don't actually review sites, they just hype them. - Vamp

This is a blog/portal that covers the "altporn" genre. It features profiles on models, artists, photographers, and more. It also has some pretty nifty reviews of their work. I noticed that most of the time the entries have a humorous edge, which was actually pretty darn amusing. I found industry, fashion, and art links here that I was genuinely interested in and followed. In addition to this, it has a link list that is actually worth your time and has some of the best subculture erotica listed in it. As far as link lists go, this is one of the better ones I've seen. It links to thumbnail galleries and gives an accurate description of what you'll click through to. You can even look picture galleries up by "tag", and I found that to be accurate as well. One of my favorite things about the internet is that it allows for so many independent artists to present their work to the world, and I have a real soft spot for authors. Brenda Williamson has put together quite a collection of romance ebooks. They cover a broad range of genres from paranormal to historic romance. In addition to this, her site is an absolute goldmine for any aspiring writer. She has a yahoo group for writers and readers called "Romance Party", a guide of writer resources, and even a list of online authors. She even links to places that she has read to research stories. This site is essentially a link list to pages that have free movies, or to other link lists that point to free movies. It also has several (changing) movies on the site itself. When I visited, all of the movies they offered were hardcore. The links give details about how many free movies you'll find at each place (and brief info on content) before you click through. There is an ad page after the main page, but after you click through that you won't find any pop ups or anything. It may be slightly confusing to new folks to sort out where the content is, and where the ads are. I was able to tell easily, as I imagine many of you will. They don't have blind links or anything to contend with, it is just crowded with information. All in all, this is a great site to go pick up links to free movies. This should be called "Totally Pointless Site". It lists a bunch of cams that you can click on. If you do, you'll be sent to another page where you'll see "free" cam shows of women waiting around to get paid to do private shows. So basically, this site lists links to pay-per-minute cam shows. Over the years I have seen many sites that allow you to save your bookmarks. This is supposed to save you from being embarrassed at home by having xxx bookmarks. That may seem like a good value, but this site is pathetic. Once you're logged in you get to search.. their search entries, all 200 of them.. heh. And the sites are the worst, these are those "free" spam gallery sites with referrer codes. Don't waste your time, I already did.

This directory lists special interest sites that focus on stockings, legs, upskirt photos, high heels, lingerie, feet. boots, pantyhose, and pin up style photography. The webmasters fill out forms that ask lots of questions about the content and number/type of pictures. Some sites are "featured sites" which means that in addition to this type of description, there will be a few click to enlarge thumbnail images and a bit more writing about the website. A neat addition to the main directory and the featured sites is the area for visitors to leave comments about their experiences with the links listed. In addition to this, there is a TGP area that includes teaser pictures for urls with free pic galleries. I like that they offer the teaser pic, since it lets you know right away what you are headed for. There is a pic of the day, and a link to a pay-per-view movie store that is on topic. While it is made to look as if it is a part of this website, the store is actually run by aebn.com. The DVD section is still unfinished. Want to appreciate Jane's Guide a bit more? Take a look at this site. It is one great big ad with no original content. When you click on category links you see banner ads and nothing else. The gallery section takes you to teaser sites or pop up hell. To top it off, they are using a name that is meant to mislead people into thinking that they are going to THE PersianKitty.com site instead of this pathetic knock off.

If you take a look at the BananaGuide and it feels familiar, it's not because they copied Janes Guide. They just assume a similar type of responsibility to their genre, which is gay erotica on the net. If you read through their coaching on AVSs, on avoiding being burned in pay sites, in many other areas [one of my favorites being 'why navigation sucks'], they take the same positive, common sense, pro-consumer approach that we try to do here at Janes Guide. They refuse to sell advertising, instead existing on click-throughs, commissions, etc. They also pledge to returning 10% of their profits to the Gay Community. Here's wishing them every success.

What a crock. Billed as a free hub site to link to the sites of the girls he has photographed over the years, what this turns out to be is a pop-up farm. I started with two windows open, the review request and the site itself. On the site I clicked on six of the girls' names, and in each case I closed the window of the individual girls' sites that I had opened. I ended up with eight windows open, all spam. Only go here if you truly like using your power-off-reboot button.
