I dare you to read this woman's wish list and not fall madly in love with her. Lady Julia is a wonderfully gentle and sensual human being that has put together a sweet little gem of a site for folks interested in erotic hypnosis. Betka Schpitz is a professional dominatrix from the Pacific Northwest who has had a rather interesting life as an educator, play space owner, adult entertainer, and more. In this blog she gives everyone a glimpse of her daily life as a dominatrix, and an account of her kinky life. She puts a lot of effort into putting together informative, thoughtful, and inspiring posts. There are links to a lot of related content (like her professional site and her porn). I was most touched when reading about the connection she has with her partners and servants. You can tell she really cares about them, and worries when they have a hard time. I really enjoyed reading the entries I found in this Blog. Alexandra describes herself as “…a transgendered fetish creature and human being.� This is a unique perspective as Alexandra is also dominant in her relationship with Richard. These entries describe the joys and trials of making a dominant/submissive relationship work and about overcoming obstacles that appear along the way. This blog is a cooperative venture between a female dominant and her male submissive. These folks are prodigious writers. If you are a blogger, you may have heard about the NaNo novel challenge. I have to admit my bias upfront and say that Ms. Matisse is a friend of mine. That said, she also has a great weblog. She's a professional dominatrix in Seattle, with experience in many areas of sex work. She talks frankly about her opinions and experiences professionally, as well as sharing a glimpses into her personal life and BDSM play. Her site is well-written and updated near daily, and also includes links to her other projects, including her pro site and her weekly print column for Seattle's 'The Stranger' alternative weekly. If only everyone in her field were as funny, ethical and down to earth.

The power of arrogance in a fella leaves me disgusted and intrigued at the same time. Daemon journals his thought processes, relationships, and sadistic desires, exemplifying narcissism to it's fullest. To dominate one, yet still maintain a trusting, loving relationship is still a mystery to me and obviously to the writer of this site who's inner turmoil leads to a lonely, anguished existence. To be honest I don't know enough about the sadist's lifestyle to comment with any great knowledge or perspective. But I do know that I would like to experience a little role reversal with Daemon, force him down on all fours and give him one hell of a spanking. My apologies to Sadistic Excess, as my review has not transpired into a very useful tool in understanding this site, let me try to re-summarize. Daemon is honest, a thinker, does well at expressing himself, writes cool poetry and pisses me off. Give his site a visit.

Mistress Xia is a professional Dominatrix. This site is her blog, her online journal. It is well written - each entry reads like a brief poem. Her use of language is stunningly beautiful. There are a few photos in some of the entries, and there are a few entries which are simply announcements of events that she will be attending. Not one photo shows her face, though, so I don't know if you would recognize her if you attended! There are links to her professional site, with a lot more photos and descriptions of services available and to The Gates website, which is apparently where she hosts her clients. Again, no facial shots of the mysterious Mistress Xia! The blog is less informative than simply a lovely artistic read.

This is Octavia Arena's online journal. She describes herself as, "Record Shop Girl by day, Professional Dominatrix all the time." She seems to discuss everything from her day to day living to sessions with her clients. There is quite an archive of entries here, so you certainly get a chance to learn a lot about her. While not exactly a professional site, there is a button you can click that will bring you to her Nightflirt (phone sex) page. Octavia's writing style is engaging, and the subject matter is often daring. Be sure to take a look!
