Vamp first reviewed this site six years ago, and since then it's only gotten better. This has to be one of the coolest BDSM toy shops I've visited in awhile! What a great blog! I often seem to read material by female submissives, but it is rare to find a genuine blog by a lifestyle dominant. BDSM is really difficult to film, and most of the time SM in the adult industry actually means Stand and Model. People put on the pvc, pull out the toys, and completely miss the energy of actual power and pain relationships. This is a site that manages to deliver something authentic, and sometimes brutal. Catherine de Sade and K offer videos that are rough, gritty, crude, dangerous, and real. One of my favorite things about reading blogs is that you can peek into the lives of people you'd never otherwise get to know. This blog is written by Sean and Mel, a very young UK couple exploring aspects of BDSM together. Most of the entries are made by Mel, a submissive female studying biochemistry. They have only been blogging since January, it appears. Most of the content is kink related, but life happens and other types of content is included. Mel is a big fan of breathplay, so there are some entries involving that (including some pictures of burst blood vessels in her face). One bit of cautionary information, Mel mentions that breathplay can, "...[P]ush limits of being safe; because, carried out wrongly, breath play can result in brain damage or even death." She is correct that it is dangerous, but incorrect about it only being dangerous when carried out wrongly. It is unpredictably deadly no matter how you do it, as there is no way to "do things right" and escape the potential for premature ventricular contractions (that you may experience even 48 hours after the event). These contractions cannot be detected without professional equipment, and they can easily lead to an especially nasty form of cardiac arrest (that can usually only be survived through the application of paddles by a medical professional). I say this as someone who loves breathplay, and as the author of the breathplay site. I love the stuff, but there is no safe way to do it. There are, at best, "safer" ways. - Vamp
